Teacher Aide I

Position Summary

The Teacher Aide I supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment for children at Sarah’s Kiddie Care. This role assists with classroom management, daily routines, supervision, and implementation of age-appropriate learning activities while ensuring compliance with all childcare regulations and center policies. The Teacher Aide plays a vital role in maintaining a positive classroom culture and supporting each child’s developmental growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and structured activities.
  • Help prepare classroom materials and learning stations.
  • Support children during instructional time, small groups, and independent activities.
  • Reinforce classroom rules and behavioral expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
  • Provide constant supervision of children indoors and outdoors.
  • Ensure children are always accounted for during transitions.
  • Monitor playtime to promote safety and positive social interaction.
  • Assist with arrival and dismissal procedures.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and emergency protocols.
  • Assist children with handwashing, restroom routines, and hygiene.
  • Support meal and snack times.
  • Help with nap/rest time supervision.
  • Clean and sanitize toys, tables, and classroom materials as required.
  • Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate communication.
  • Assist in redirecting inappropriate behavior using approved discipline methods.
  • Support children in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Report behavioral concerns to the Lead Teacher or Director.
  • Maintain professional communication with staff and parents.
  • Report incidents, injuries, or concerns promptly.
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Support overall center operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior childcare experience preferred.
  • Must meet state childcare licensing requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass background check and fingerprint clearance.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help us grow our brand presence, increase enrollment, and strengthen our connection with families both online and in the community. The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing our digital presence, creating engaging content, supporting enrollment campaigns, and helping position Sarah’s Kiddie Care as a trusted and premier childcare provider in the community. This role requires creativity, organization, professionalism, and an understanding of how to market to families in a trustworthy and engaging way.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar
  • Create engaging posts including photos, reels, graphics, and captions
  • Manage platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profile
  • Monitor and respond to messages and comments professionally and promptly
  • Increase followers, engagement, and overall brand visibility
  • Ensure all content aligns with our warm, family-oriented brand voice
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos (while strictly following child privacy policies and parent consent guidelines)
  • Design flyers, event promotions, and enrollment advertisements
  • Create digital and printed marketing materials
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
  • Assist with website updates and email newsletters
  • Support enrollment campaigns and seasonal promotions
  • Promote weekend/overnight care (if applicable to location)
  • Assist with planning and marketing open houses and family events
  • Research local marketing opportunities (community boards, partnerships, vendor events)
  • Track marketing performance and suggest improvements
  • Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations

Sarah’s Kiddie Care is seeking a highly organized and dependable Food Program & Transportation Liaison to oversee our child nutrition program and student transportation coordination. This role is essential to ensuring our children receive nutritious meals daily while maintaining safe, reliable transportation services for our families. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and passionate about supporting children and families through strong administrative and operational oversight.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily implementation of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) or other applicable nutrition programs.
  • Maintain accurate daily meal counts and attendance records.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately for state and federal reimbursement.
  • Monitor compliance with USDA, state licensing, and health department regulations.
  • Ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines and required serving components.
  • Maintain up-to-date allergy lists and dietary accommodation records.
  • Coordinate food ordering, deliveries, and inventory tracking.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for audits and program reviews.
  • Train staff on proper meal documentation and food handling procedures.
  • Serve as primary liaison between Sarah’s Kiddie Care and food vendors or program sponsors.
  • Coordinate daily student pick-up and drop-off schedules.
